LEA goes dock-to-dock to help landowners

Be on the lookout this summer for a pontoon boat with the LEA banner on your lake. It’s your chance to get the latest water quality results, ask questions about your property and tell us your concerns. Weather permitting, staff members and volunteers will be going out dock-to-dock on a lake or pond every Saturday from July 7 to August 11,  arriving around 10 a.m. and touring the shore until around 2 p.m. You can ask questions about water quality, invasive plants, lake-friendly landscaping, erosion, shoreland zoning and any other issue or concern. If we can’t answer you on the spot, we’ll research your question and contact you with the answer. You can even email us before the tour and we’ll have the answer ready the day of the tour.
