Join LEA Naturalist Mary Jewett for an easy morning of birding at the Bob Dunning Bridge. The bridge spans the Stevens Brook and leads to Pondicherry Park, and is surrounded by excellent wetland and terrestrial habitat. On previous May walks we have seen dozens of species including many migratory warblers.
This walk is open to anyone interested in birds. LEA members may attend for free and non-members pay a $5 fee. Binoculars are a must. If you don’t have a pair please contact Mary to reserve some. We only have a few extra pairs so get in touch early.
If you have any questions or would like to register please contact Mary Jewett: firstname.lastname@example.org or call 207-647-8580.
The walk will last about 1.5 hours and will cover easy terrain. We will stay close to the bridge unless a song brings us further into the park.
