It’s almost here! The Big Night! Every spring amphibians leave their upland habitat where they spent the winter and return to wetlands to cavort and find a mate. Often the initial rainy evening above 40 degrees brings a slew of salamanders, frogs and other crawlies out of the woods to vernal pools, and sometimes they have to cross a road to get there. Join Mary Jewett for a presentation on Big Night, things you might see and hear, and get ready to launch your own exploration wherever you are.
