Join LEA in welcoming former Education Director Sarah Frankel and her book “Half Acre”! Half Acre tells the story of the connections of wildlife and plants in our yards close by- we may think of these places as not wild, but they certainly are! Sarah will read her book aloud, share her inspiration, and then field questions from the audience. We may take a walk along the trail if folks are interested!
Sarah teaches Middle School Science and when she is not engaging her students in awesome investigations or connecting them with the local agricultural community, she is with her family in the woods and thinking up more books to write and illustrate! We hope you can join us!
