Need help managing your land or wondering what that even means? Join LEA on Tuesday, August 21st from 5-6pm to welcome our district forester, Shane Duigan. Shane will give a quick overview of the forests in Maine, landowner and woodlot options and then open the floor for a casual discussion on whatever you are interested in- forestry for Maine birds, developing a diverse tree stand, managing your woodlot for longevity or for wildlife. Whatever the case may be, Shane can give you a good direction to head! We will plan on doing a short walk in the woods behind the center to look at a tree stand.
