Join LEA and Maine Audubon for a workshop on the Junior Duck Stamp Curriculum and Project WILD Aquatic!
The Federal Junior Duck Stamp program is a dynamic, multidisciplinary curriculum that teaches wetland and waterfowl conservation to students in kindergarten through high school. The program encourages students to explore their natural world and invites them to investigate biology and wildlife principles.
From awareness to action, Project WILD Aquatic’s hands-on approach to learning engages students in investigating the world around them through solid STEM activities. The newly-revised and updated curriculum can be easily adapted to meet the learning requirements for academic disciplines from environmental education to social studies, math, and language arts.
Participants will explore and receive a Project Aquatic Wild curriculum and the Junior Maine Duck Stamp Program Educator Guide, along with a variety of resources.
