Please join us Thursday, March 24th for a talk about the renowned native salmon population in the Crooked River by Fishery Biologist James Pellerin. He will give a history of the fishery, the characteristics of the river that make it ideal for salmon, and discuss some of the remaining dams that limit fish passage. Pellerin will also discuss the specifics of an upcoming article on the Naples town warrant to remove part of the Edes Falls dam to improve river connectivity for salmon and stabilize the remaining structure. Our online registration is closed, if you have any questions, or to register day of, please email alanna@mainelakes.org
