For the past three years, fifth grade students at Sebago Elementary have been working to create sections of a field guide for their nature trail. This year, thanks to a budding mycologist in the class, they were convinced to focus on mushrooms! With help from mycology minded community members we came up with an accurate local list, and students worked with their art teacher, Mrs. McGuinness and LEA to develop a picture guide. Laminated copies are available at the trail head to borrow (please return!), as well as laminated copies of a leaf guide from another class.
