Join us on the darkest day of the year for a morning of family-friendly nature art. We’ll start with a short walk on the trail to collect pine cones, acorns, maple seeds and other materials. Along the way, we’ll learn how to identify pine cones from hemlock cones and maple samaras from birch catkins.
Inside, we’ll craft woodland ornaments and nature-inspired greeting cards. Participants are invited to bring their own found natural items to contribute, but we ask that you avoid removing moss or lichen from trees.
