Join us at Holt Pond Preserve for a midsummer nature walk with Mary Jewett. Dragonflies are out, and we’ll bring some nets and see if we can catch a few for a closer look. We’ll start the walk in the field by Chaplins Mill Rd, followed by a walk along the Muddy River trail, keeping an eye out for beavers and river otters. This is also a great time of year to spot hummingbirds feeding on the pickerelweed and cardinal flowers along the river. All ages welcome.
Location: Meet at the corner of Chaplins Mill and Grist Mill Roads (not at the Holt Pond parking lot).
