Packbaskets are a wonderful thing to have on your back for a walk in the woods, and now you can join us to make your very own. Jessica Steele will join us at the Maine Lake Science Center for a day of weaving with reeds, and you’ll leave with your own packbasket! Light snacks, coffee and tea will be provided, please bring a bagged lunch and prepare for a full day of basket making! Although our baskets will be made from reeds, our district forester, Shane Duigan, will join in and chat about ash and the emerald ash borer in Maine. $110 for a full day of instruction and you take home your very own packbasket!
