Our Maine Tree Farm sign has been “planted”. After submitting a forest management plan by our forester, Paul Larrivee, that addressed air, water, soil quality, wildlife, special sites, invasive species and integrated pest management as needed, an inspector visited the lot to verify, and we were approved. We’re now a certified Tree Farm. The American Tree Farm system can help connect land owners with resources to do right by the land, the wildlife, the water, and the way of life in Maine.
