Join LEA for a morning of paddling on Tuesday, July 28th at Stearns Pond from 9:00-noon. We’ll get up close to aquatic plants such as pickerel weed, bladderwort, water lilies, and more. We’ll also discuss invasive aquatic plants and early detection methods.
Meet at the public boat launch. Bring your own canoe, kayak, or paddleboard and PFD or specify in your registration if you’d like to borrow a boat from LEA.
Directions: Meet at the Stearns Pond boat launch on Town Landing Rd in Sweden. The boat launch does not come up on Google Maps, but you can use this Google Maps Pin.
